New DC-DC converters Mean Well: perfect for photovoltaic systems!

In recent years, the intensification of climate change has led most nations to pursue the goal of Zero Emissions. In addition to the increase in costs and the lack of natural resources, the demand for renewable energy, such as photovoltaics or storage, has dramatically increased.

To meet these needs, Mean Well will release two new series of DC-DC converters with ultrawide input 250-1500VDC from 150W and 300W - series RSDH-150/300.

The proposed models, in addition to the ultrawide input, offer a fanless design that can work with temperatures between -40°C and +80°C, 4Kvac insulation, high performance EMC, altitude up to 5000m, in compliance with IEC/EN62109-1 PV.

The entire series is thus perfect for photovoltaic applications, energy storage, charging stations and all those situations where a conversion from high voltage DC to low voltage is necessary.
